Goodbye 2015, Hello 2016;

It is currently 9:07 pm here in Anchorage, AK. I thought I'd write a little bit since it's NYE(:

This year was pretty interesting, full of changes. The biggest change being that I moved about 3,400 miles away from my parents. Yes I am aware that I am 25 (and in the military) haha but this is the farthest I've lived from my parents since coming out of the womb. Thank goodness for technology these days. I think I would be more of a mess and sad if I wasn't able to FaceTime with family as often as we do.

I honestly do not remember anything I wanted to accomplish this year. But in 2016, I do have a couple goals in mind: get my CCAF,  get promoted (maybe, let's see how much studying I can get in before my test), get fitter/more active (I've recently lost almost 10 lbs. Gained some weight in the last couple months and decided to get serious and stop gaining unwanted weight haha), blog and take pictures more often, and to spend as much time with family (even if FaceTime is the best we can do).

Not much, I thought I had more. But yea. So here's to a new year, to grow, learn, and become a better person. Hope everyone is having/had a wonderful New Year's Eve/New Year's Day. Here's a little slideshow of pictures from our 2015(:

September 28, 2017- I woke up thinking I was starting to get sick. Ugh. Who likes being sick? It was kind of hard to breathe, I felt sluggish and thought I was starting to get a fever. It was Thursday and also the last day of the training class I was in for work. I got up and got ready to try to survive the day. I wasn't going to let a cold stop me. For the last day, we spent the morning just going over one of the loading systems we use and then after lunch we were going to end the class with a class evaluation. Being a seasoned AMMO troop, I stood off to the side so the younger, newer members could get more hands on training. Half-way through the morning, I started to feel a weird sensation in my left arm. It also was harder to breathe than it was when I first woke up. Noticing this, I start...
