10 lbs. 10 oz.
Length
21.65 in/55 cm
Clothes Size
0-3 month/3 month
Hair
Lost pretty much all the hair he had on top (slowly growing back) and he has a bald ring on the back of his head where he rubs his head a lot when he's on his back.
Eyes
BLUE!
Sleeping
Takes a couple 2-3 hour naps during the day and sleeps for two 4-5 hour sessions in the early morning.
Eating
Still pumping so he can get breastmilk. He's been eating between 20-25 oz a day. Made the decision to slowly make the switch to formula (for a couple reasons).
This month
Still doesn't like tummy time. He'll hold his head up and look around when he's sitting up (with help of course) or held up on our chest. Yet, he still doesn't want to try and lift it up when he's laying down on his belly. He favors the right side of his head. Smiles and coos a lot more. He has also started blowing raspberries. His cradle cap seems to slowly be going away but his eczema has gotten worse =( He took his first round of shots like a champ.
ECZEMA UPDATE: we've decided to slowly switch him over to formula. It was a hard decision for me but after reading about infant eczema, forums where other mommas talked about why they switched/their life after switching, and thinking about how I'm going to work soon it just seemed like a better fit for our family. A big reason we wanted to switch over to formula was because we felt that something in my diet is what is causing his eczema to get worse. It had gotten to the point where he screamed whenever we tried to moisturize his arms and legs. That made me feel like his skin was so dry that it stung in some areas when we applied his cream. He is still getting some breastmilk but since giving him more formula, his skin has gotten better. We've also switched from Johnson's Head to Toe wash to Aveeno Baby wash and shampoo. That also seemed to help a lot. Even his cradle cap has gone down a lot.
Here are some Joey smiles(:
Hope everyone has a good Christmas and New Year's! Our little family is about to take an adventure and head down to Nebraska for Christmas. Thanks for stopping by. Until next time!
